Remember gathering with your friends over an enormous tangle of cord spaghetti beneath the rounded glare of the television? (“Stop sitting so close to that TV!”) Were you once a fan of fast-paced, action-packed, blowing up your fellow player with style and finesse? If so, then this lovingly recreated console classic is the game you’ve been looking for!

This game does boast an impressive multiplayer capability of up to 20 players, and of course, being one to hop on an 8-player villager-on-villager death battle in Smash Bros., you bet I wanted to get in on a giant bout with this game! I cannot wait to play this game at full capacity in my living room.

Check out a list of these features:

Multi-player
Online Multi-Player
Local Multi-Player
Co-op
Online Co-op
Local Co-op
Shared/Split Screen
Full controller support
Customizable level editor

In addition to all the above, you can taunt your opponents, too.

I want so badly to name the game that Splody is so firmly entrenched in the style of, but I shall refrain. I simply must hand it to Dashing Strike for adding features that work so well to customize the character of the player’s choosing. The dinosaur mounts are a welcome tip of the hat, too! Level customization is available on this title that I will implore pretty much anyone remotely near my age group that wants to relive some past times, to check this one out!

With intuitive gameplay, customizable rates of reward and power-ups, there is an amazing amount of content provided in such a small package that I was able to download and install very quickly. Other than a glitch in the level customizer -which remains a byproduct of my own faulty repair job on an old gamepad – this has run very smoothly, and for an independent publisher, it is a very well-polished and rounded product.

I am excited to bring praise to this game. Thank you for allowing me to wax nostalgic with good memories for a great game along with a few additions that I think were well-thought out and executed. Thank you for providing your players with a quality product. I think the accolades that have been received so far speak volumes for the efforts that have been injected into a well-loved style of game that many of us are fondly familiar with.

The tenth tentacle extends a lit punk.

BOOM!
